Taking good care of a real leather bag can add years to its lifespan. It only makes sense to properly care for real leather if you’re going to invest in it.
To care for your leather bag, we generally advise doing the following:
1. Use A Good Conditioner to Maintain The Quality Of Your Leather
- To avoid your bag becoming dry or cracked, use a decent leather cream or conditioner frequently.
- Apply the lotion evenly throughout the bag using a cloth, then wipe away any extra.
2. Keep Your Leather Dry
- Avoid letting moisture or dampness touch your leather bag whenever you can.
- If you drop something on it, remove the liquid as quickly as you can using a clean, dry cloth.
3. Clean It
- When handling leather, always wash your hands since oil from your hands can quickly transfer to leather hide.
- We advise swiftly sweeping the leather with a soft, dry (or slightly damp) towel once a week.
- Ensure that you’re giving your leather the right attention. If you do, your bag might live a good, long time.
