A Note from Our Founder
Onti Leather began as a simple conviction: that the rich heritage of Zimbabwean craftsmanship and the immense potential of our women and youth were resources too precious to be overlooked. Growing up in Matabeleland, I was surrounded by incredible talent, but I also saw the systemic barriers that held so many back, particularly women.
I didn’t want to create a charity; I wanted to build a self-sustaining engine for empowerment. Our workshop is more than a place of production; it is a place of purpose, where every artisan earns a living wage, hones their skills, and becomes a leader in their own right. This company is my promise—a promise that we can create products of exceptional quality that carry a story of dignity, resilience, and the enduring spirit of Zimbabwe.
